The FIL 622-1 EVOLVE represents a significant advancement in intraocular lens technology, featuring an innovative Extended Depth of Focus (EDoF) design that delivers superior visual function at far and intermediate distances. This hydrophilic lens is engineered to restore emmetropia while providing enhanced visual comfort for everyday tasks.
Manufactured from high-quality FIL hydrophilic PolyHema with 25% water content and integrated UV protection, the lens combines biocompatibility with optical excellence. The aspherical optic design features a central area with +2.50 D addition (corresponding to +1.75 D addition on glasses), enhanced by positive spherical aberration to optimize intermediate vision between 45 and 68 cm.
The lens features exceptional stability characteristics, including distinctive "camel hump" cusps and long loops that provide superior resistance against tilt and rotation. Its 6.0 mm optic diameter and 15.0 mm total diameter, combined with 5° haptic angulation, ensure reliable positioning in both the capsular bag and ciliary sulcus. Compatible with microincisions and designed for easy removal even months post-surgery, the FIL 622-1 EVOLVE offers surgeons both flexibility and confidence.
